TUCer Team at Shell Eco Marathon 2013

TUC Eco Racing team competed for the sixth time at the European Shell Eco Marathon, at Rotterdam, on May 15-20 2013 at the Hydrogen Urban Concept category.

The Urban Concept category was introduced in 2003 and is designed specifically for vehicles that are similar to normal cars and more conventional in design than the experimental prototypes in the traditional Shell Eco-marathon competition.

The team won the first prize and the peoples choice prize at the Shell Energy Challenge. More than 180 teams competed for theese awards, introduced first time this year. Moreover, TUCer team achieved its best ever performance of 62,8km/kWh, and won the fourth place at its category.

A big thanks goes to Nikos Afentakis for his support during the design of the Shell Energy Challenge infographic.
